Criminal Justice
The Southern Arkansas University System has signed an agreement to help students holding an Associate of Arts in General Education-Criminal Justice degree from Southern Arkansas University Tech to transfer seamlessly to Southern Arkansas University for completion of a BS in Criminal Justice. The collaboration will allow the partners to increase graduation rates, facilitate the transfer process and maintain a high-quality working relationship between the two institutions.
The SAU Criminal Justice major is designed to prepare students for entry-level positions in a variety of careers as well as to enable experienced persons to expand their knowledge and improve their skills. Students will not have to worry about constructing this pathway themselves, nor about whether credits will transfer or be accepted. If they take the appropriate classes at the appropriate time, based on this new agreement, they will be on the path to graduating from college as quickly as possible and at the lowest cost possible.
The degree plan below shows the pathway for both SAU Tech and SAU for your convenience. SAU Tech's portion of the program will be online and SAU's will be in the classroom. Please contact us if you need more information about the program.
