Expectations are high for rocket night
This April 18 will mark the second year that the SAU Tech Foundation hosts a fundraiser event to raise funds for athletics and student scholarships. The SAU Tech Foundation Rocket Night was well attended last year with speaker Walt Coleman serving as the guest speaker. Expectations are high this year as the College looks to the event to help fund several programs including the Tech Scholars, Tech the Choir, the Rocket Cheer Squad, and provide support for the delivery of NJCAA basketball and softball. Coach Nutt, first-cousin of recent SAU Tech retiree, Ken Nutt, has been very supportive of the event and in addition to speaking is participating in a VIP pre-event session for a small group of supporters.
Tickets can be purchased online at www.sautech.edu and through the mail. A form for ticket purchases or event sponsorship is available for download on the site above and tickets are available locally at Generations Bank in Hampton, Generations Bank in Camden (Brookshires), Jim Golden Ford and Lincoln, and at Dean’s Heating and Air. The event will be catered by Weston and Jana Woods and James Woods is sponsoring the VIP session.
