Welcome to SAU Tech's Rocket' to a University Degree program- SAU Tech's transfer university created just for you! With the rising cost of a four-year education, everyone needs options! Rocket University provides a transfer program for you to start at SAU Tech and earn your first two years of college credit towards a bachelor's degree with around half the cost of attending a four-year college.

Every bachelor's degree begins with some basic or CORE classes. SAU Tech offers all of the CORE classes in a traditional classroom setting or online through our Online Campus.

SAU Tech has transfer agreements with many of Arkansas's universities like Southern Arkansas University, Henderson, the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith, and more. In addition, Arkansas has a law in place (ACTS) that ensures that a two-year degree from SAU Tech transfers to the four-year college of your choice. Whether you are thinking of becoming a doctor or you want to be a teacher, you can start at SAU Tech and transfer.

Our Transfer Graduates Tell the Story!

Jessica Flannigan Green- Camden Fairview High School Graduate-SAU Tech Transfer /General Studies Alumnus

Jessica is a Camden, Arkansas native. She married her husband, Melvin Green, who also attended college at SAU Tech. Jessica graduated with an Associate of Arts in General Studies that provides all the core classes she needed to transfer to a four-year college.

Jessica said that "Attending SAU Tech first before transferring to a four-year school helped me to get my feet wet in a new learning environment. I took my basic classes first at SAU Tech, then when I got to my four-year college I began taking the classes I needed for my major."

Jessica transferred from SAU Tech to SAU in Magnolia, Arkansas, and majored in exercise science. Jessica and her husband are living in Camden and they are expecting their second child.

Tyler Linton-Harmony Grove High School Graduate -SAU Tech Transfer/Teacher Education Alumnus

Tyler attended a local high school and chose to attend SAU Tech for the first two years of his teaching degree. He worked two jobs while in college and graduated from SAU Tech in 2018.

Tyler said that "SAU Tech is where I felt most at home when I attended college there. The amount of support from the professors shows how much SAU Tech cares about student success. At SAU Tech I was not just another number."

Tyler transferred to Southern Arkansas University - Magnolia and now works as a teacher at Yocum Math & Science Academy teaching kindergarten.
