Southern Arkansas University Tech (SAU Tech) is proud to announce the selection by the Aspen Institute College Excellence Program to be eligible to apply for the Aspen Prize. SAU Tech has made the list before as one of the few two-year colleges in Arkansas selected by Aspen. SAU Tech was one of six two-year colleges in Arkansas deemed eligible to apply for the 2021 prize by the Aspen Institute.

The prize is for 2021, and the College must apply for the possibility of receiving a $1 million award for community college excellence. The Aspen Institute published a national press release on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 with information on the process and the prize.
